Day 2: Amsterdam, Netherlands - Tour Begins
Your tour begins in Amsterdam, the thriving 800yearold capital of Holland. Take the day to get settled in and explore the city before joining your fellow travelers for a delicious welcome dinner. After getting your fill of local flavor, you may choose to cap off your night by joining your Tour Manager for a stroll through Amsterdam’s famous Red Light District.
Day 3: Amsterdam
See the city the way it’s meant to be seen – by canal. On your private boat, cruise under sloping bridges and pass by quintessential Dutch houses as you hear stories of the city’s past and present. Step off the boat and into a local neighborhood where you’ll explore further with your taste buds on a lunchtime tasting tour. The rest of the afternoon and evening is yours to discover Amsterdam as you wish.
Day 4: Amsterdam - Floridae
Vibrant flowers and countless shades of green blanket the sprawling grounds of Floriade, a once in a decade event that celebrates horticulture on an epic scale. Spend most of your day exploring the grounds and discover the role that living flora and fauna play in our modern world. Enjoy your last evening in Amsterdam at your leisure
Day 5: Before you bid the Netherlands farewell, stop at a local farm in Woerden to learn about cheese making and try a bite yourself. Arrive this afternoon in Brussels, the multicultural hub of the European Union with a unique and eclectic vibe. Get to know your home for the next 2 nights before enjoying dinner in the heart of historic Brussels.
Day 6: Today, experience Belgium how you wish, because it’s your choice! Spend the day in Bruges, exploring the cobblestone streets, canals, and romantic bridges of this fairytale town OR stay in Brussels and join a local guide for a panoramic city tour and a visit to Parlamentarium – an interactive museum that showcases the history of the EU Parliament and how it works today.
Day 7: Brussels - High Speed Train - paris
Zip through the Ardennes and the French countryside on the incredibly efficient highspeed Thalys train, arriving in Paris in less than 2 hours. Say bonjour to this capital city’s alluring blend of culture, cuisine, and history in the hilltop arrondissement of Montmarte, where hip bohemia meets skyhigh basilicas like the iconic Sacre-Coeur. Settle into your hotel and enjoy an evening to explore your new neighborhood at your leisure. Perhaps you’ll consider an optional dinner at the dynamic Paradis Latin* cabaret show, featuring champagne, cancan dancers, and endless excitement.
Day 8: Paris
Get to know Paris in a way that fits you best, because it’s your choice! See Paris’ most iconic sights like the Arc de Triomphe, Champs-Elysees, Île de la Cite, and Place Vendome on a panoramic city tour OR hop on Le Metro with a local guide for a walking tour of the medieval Marais neighborhood and the gardens and arcades of the Palais Royale. This afternoon, you may choose an optional guided tour at the renowned Louvre Museum** or spend your free time simply doing as the Parisians do and relax at a sidewalk cafe.
Day 9: Paris
Today is yours to explore more of what Paris has to offer. Perhaps you will join an optional excursion to the magnificent Palace of Versailles** and walk through its storied halls and stunning gardens. As the sun fades and the “City of Light” debuts its sparkling grandeur, join your traveling companions for a dinner cruise along the Seine and to toast the end of a wonderful journey with Paris twinkling all around you.
